David Goad

Mr. Goad is the VP of Finance at Shape Process Automation Group and is responsible for the global SPA Finance function.  He oversees the SPA controller groups in North America and Europe and focuses his time on talent development, continuously improving operational finance reporting and communication as tools to drive value-maximizing business decisions, and M&A diligence and integration activities.  

 In addition to his role with the SPA Group, Mr. Goad also serves as VP of Financial Planning & Analysis for the wider SHAPE group of companies.  In this role, he is responsible for global planning activities, management and board-level financial reporting, key initiative project management, and assisting C-suite and commercial leadership with corporate strategy. 

Mr. Goad has over 12 years of experience and has been with the SHAPE Group for over 3 years. Prior to his role at SHAPE, Mr. Goad was a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice.  His practice focused on advising bank syndicates, private placement noteholders, creditor committees, receivers, and other stakeholders in restructuring and workout situations.  Additionally, Mr. Goad advised companies in non-distressed FP&A / finance transformation engagements.  

 Mr. Goad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accountancy from Villanova University.
