Waterjet technology is an excellent solution to address labor issues, product variation, food safety and sustainability challenges in cutting baked goods, produce, and proteins. Utilizing this technology also provides added value when compared to other mechanical systems due to its versatility and increased cutting speed. Cakes, breads, confectionaries, lettuce, celery, chicken, beef, pork, fish, and many types of frozen foods are cut with pure water pressurized up to 90,000 PSI/6,200 bar. Waterjet cutting processes food without messy, expensive blades or wires resulting in less maintenance and down-time.
